ETown Vocal Music Society

The ETown Vocal Music Society is a non-profit organization with a board and staff dedicated to continually bringing a cappella vocal music to each member of both our ensembles.

About Us

With the ETown Minors youth ensemble in its 13th season, and ETown Augmented entering its 9th season in 2023-2024, ETVMS is thrilled to continue encouraging growth in our community!

There are two overarching goals that we have for the ensembles of the ETown Vocal Music Society. The first is that our groups learn and perform music entirely a cappella (without instrumental accompaniment), and the second is that the repertoire we choose is selected from popular music. Though we also focus on inclusion, music literacy and vocal health and technique in all of our ensembles, a cappella arrangements of pop music is our driving artistic principle.
